Binance is now fully operational in Argentina after being registered as an official crypto service provider by the country's National Securities Commission (CNV). With this registration, the crypto exchange can now offer its full range of services to Argentine users through its mobile app and website.
Binance highlighted that Argentina is a key market for the company, and they plan to continue collaborating with local authorities to ensure the industry's safe and sustainable growth. This is part of Binance's broader global compliance strategy, which includes registrations in countries like Kazakhstan, India, and Indonesia.
Binance’s head of Latin America, Guilherme Nazar, emphasized the company's commitment to forward-looking regulation, believing it will foster secure industry adoption.
Meanwhile, Binance’s former CEO, Changpeng Zhao, has been released from U.S. prison after serving four months for Anti-Money Laundering violations, though he remains banned from managing the exchange.
