The Australian Federal Police (AFP) seized $6.4 million USD in cryptocurrency from the alleged creator of the encrypted messenger "Ghost," which, according to authorities, is used for organized crime. A special asset confiscation team gained access to the account after analyzing digital devices seized from a resident of New South Wales. These funds will be directed towards law enforcement programs.
The investigation, codenamed "Operation Kraken," is related to cracking down on the activities of criminal groups using the "Ghost" app.
