PayPal is collaborating with Xoom to facilitate cross-border payments using the stablecoin PYUSD. This expands the availability of PYUSD in Asia and Africa through partnerships with Cebuana Lhuillier and Yellow Card. PYUSD, backed by the US dollar and issued by Paxos, is supported on PayPal's payment platforms. The company is also partnering with Anchorage Digital and MoonPay to simplify cryptocurrency purchases, but it is still lagging behind USDt and USDC in market capitalization.
