UBS Asset Management has introduced the “UBS USD Money Market Investment Fund Token” (uMINT), a money market investment fund based on Ethereum.
Thomas Kege, Co-Chair of UBS Asset Management APAC, noted the growing interest of investors in tokenized assets. Token holders will gain access to high-quality cash management solutions based on a conservative approach.
The fund's launch also supports the expansion of UBS’s tokenization services, including the issuance of 200 million CNH fully digital structured notes and the completion of the world’s first reverse repo transaction with a digital bond on a public blockchain.
