The decentralized exchange Uniswap has launched an embedded permissioned cross-chain bridge, providing users the ability to conduct transactions across nine blockchains.
On October 23rd, the Uniswap team announced that a permissionless cross-chain bridge is now supported, bringing the DEX protocol closer to full cross-chain swaps. This feature is powered by the Across Protocol.
Users can now perform transactions between networks such as Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, ZKSync, as well as Base, Zora, Blast, OP Mainnet, and World Chain. Importantly, only native assets like ETH for the Ethereum network or ARB for Arbitrum are supported. Stable coins are also available.
Users can make cross-chain transactions directly through the Uniswap interface and wallet.
