After a demand from the Singapore court to provide data on wallets containing user funds, WazirX submitted a 1,100-page affidavit that included over 240,000 wallet addresses. The company stated that 55% of the funds were consolidated in these wallets after the 2,000 crore rupee hack to ensure transparency.
However, an investigation by The Crypto Times revealed that WazirX provided the court with duplicate data on the wallets of 4.4 million clients. Analysis of the first two pages of the document found 16 duplicate wallet addresses.
In addition, one wallet containing $2.6 million remains active despite the suspension of operations following the hack.
