Gambaryan's lawyer, Mark Mordi, requested a postponement until next week to provide information on the health condition of his client. Prosecutor Iehanaho supported this request, noting the importance of the defendant's health. The judge agreed to delay the case, emphasizing that Gambaryan is already receiving medical care from well-known Nigerian doctors, although his lawyer claimed that surgery and higher-quality treatment outside the correctional facility were needed.
