Donald Trump has launched the cryptocurrency exchange World Liberty Financial (WLFI), and now investors can apply for the "whitelist" if they can avoid the scammers. On the platform X (formerly Twitter), the WLFI announcement was attacked by fake accounts that copied the company's profile and promoted false links.
In his speech, Trump emphasized the influence of cryptocurrency on the financial system, introducing entrepreneurs Chase Herro and Zekari Falkman. According to CoinDesk, WLFI will be built on the DeFi Aave platform and Ethereum blockchain, but the details of its operations remain unclear.
WLFI has announced the successful registration of accredited investors but has faced scammers creating fake accounts and duplicating the company's content. In response, WLFI added a warning: "THIS IS THE LAST POST IN THIS THREAD. Any post below is likely phishing."
